The Whyalla Recreation Centre is a community based centre which has a strong focus on health, fitness, aquatic and stadium programs and services that meet the needs of the local community. We offer a wide range of programs and services including:
• Variety of Membership options to cater for everyone
• Group Fitness – we offer 40 classes per week aimed at all ages and fitness levels
• Health Club – modern health club with cardio and pin loaded equipment, and free weights
• Aquatics – range of aquatic services including 25 metre lap pool, leisure pool with water features and water slide, spa, and sauna.
• Stadium – our 2 court stadium is open for use, and indoor sporting equipment is available to use
• Free child minding services for members with children under age of 5.
• Play Café - indoor playground designed for children aged 0-12
• Kiosk – we offer a fully stocked kiosk with barista service using locally roasted coffee. Also provided is a wide range of snacks including kids favourites right through to healthy smoothies and vegan food options. Also available for purchase are goggles, bathers, swim nappies, swimming aids and merchandise
