The Binalong Motor Museum is Australia's only purpose built motor museum and restoration workshop, built in 1992. It is located in the historic village of Binalong, which is 37 kilometres from Yass.
Most of the cars on display are in working order, and the collection changes regularly. The restoration workshop is an integral part of the museum display, and visitors can closely inspect rare cars such as Bugattis and Delarges being restored.
Enjoy the shady garden area with barbecue and picnic facilities. There is a car park, public toilets and access with assistance for the disabled. Guided tours and school groups are welcome, all visitors currently by appointment so please phone ahead.
