Shelly Beach Motel offers beautiful views of the tranquil waters of Hervey Bay from all rooms. New curtains and carpets make all the self-contained rooms very fresh. They are individually decorated, with queen size beds and comfortable lounge chairs. Each room has its own private balcony or courtyard, complete with a patio setting to enjoy the famous Queensland sunshine.
Shelly Beach Motel is at the quiet end of Hervey Bay and the peace and tranquillity takes over once you have unpacked. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the spectacular sunsets and unwind with a cold drink. A short stroll takes you to the restaurants and shops and along the way you can gather the shells after which Shelly Beach was named.
There has been a wonderful transformation in the grounds. The gazebo area, shaded by beautiful Poinciana trees, continues to evolve, depending on the mood or time of the year, it is decorated accordingly.
The gazebo is self-contained with a fridge and everything need for a barbecue, even the kitchen sink!
Many a time it has been used by guests from all parts of the world. A large backyard is a plus for those with boats or kids!
