The characterful railway carriage has been completely refurbished for the intention of a bed and breakfast and has a likeness to a 'tiny house'. Located on Miners Ridge Vineyard in Great Western, it is a peaceful and beautiful place to get away and explore the area, or simply rest.
Walk through the original narrow door to enter the main living area. At one end is a king size bed, the other has the living area and kitchenette.
Step down to a spacious rustic in appearance styled bathroom. Sit, relax and watch the birdlife over the vineyard and dam on the front deck. The deck has a hooded barbecue with a side burner for cooking meals.
There is a lawn area below the deck that leads to the dam with a wooden picnic table and a fire drum to have a campfire during colder months.
Your accommodation is fully self contained with a private entrance and separate parking.
A continental breakfast is provided and will be on the bench when you arrive. Where possible they use homemade jams and preserves.
There is a cellar door located on the property that guests are welcome to visit for a wine tasting. Miners Ridge Produce platters are available to guests at an additional cost.
