Bullo River Station covers 500,000 acres and is situated in the northwestern corner of the Northern Territory near the Western Australian border. Encircled by the coffee coloured waters of the Victoria River and rugged hills adorned with Aboriginal rock art, this vast property is not only home to around 9,000 Brahman-cross cattle, but also a stunning variety of local fauna species including wallabies, dingoes, wild buffalo, a myriad of native and migratory birds, fish and crocodiles.
Breakfast outside on the homestead verandah, pack a picnic lunch and sit by peaceful billabongs or under the shade of a magnificent boab tree. The kitchen bakes fresh cakes and biscuits to fill picnic baskets for guests venturing out and about on the property. Enjoy an informal dinner showcasing the local fare of fresh barramundi and organic prime beef from the surrounding pastures.
Get outdoors for a day of fishing or just enjoy the local wildlife on a cruise of the Bullo River Gorge. Take an exhilarating helicopter flight over the property, or try your hand at cattle mustering or horse riding with the local experts....
